Plastic Waste Recycling Mauritius & Covid 19 Support
Precious Plastic Mauritius aims to save our Ocean from Plastic Pollution by organizing a series of activities to create life long behavioral changes in regards to plastic pollution.
As a Social Business we are also helping people in need of financial support due to the COVID-19 Crisis, empowering and mentoring people who lost their jobs and providing them a financial revenue.
♻️ We organize Beach Clean Ups (Minimum 2 per month)
♻️ We constructed 2 plastic recycling machines (A shredder and an injection Machine) and we transform the plastic waste collected on the beach into Sport Equipment and long life objects
♻️ We need to build a special bicycle to collect the plastic in a sustainable way.
♻️ We organize workshops and awareness campains around the Island in Schools and our Hub
♻️ We will organize eco-tours for locals and tourists
Our model is made for replication around the Island.
Help us in our project organization, support our collection system and recycling system, help us build our special bike. Help us to create 2 school visit per year. Help us employ persons in needs of financial support.
Benefits For you: You can choose one school you want us to visit, you participate for free in our Workshops and EcoTours and have a private workshop at the Recycling Hub and use the workspace as you want. You will also receive 4 coasters to say thank you. You help a good cause and it feels good.
