Help a young entrepreneur
Hi there,
WHO I AM
As most of you know me, my name is Thomas Chellen. I am 38yrs old and I was born in Mauritius. Since, my very young age, I was very passionate about cooking beacause good food make happy people and i love making people happy. I spent some years in kitchen in Dublin before i moved back home where I want to open my own restaurant.
MY PROJECT
When I moved back to Mauritius in 2018, I started to study the market and what are the possibilities to start my own business. After a year of work and research, in January 2020, I decided to give it a go. I started by producing Mauritius famous DIMSUM called BOULETTE . After 3 months of hard work, I was ready to take my first step for opening my restaurant but we got hit by COVID19. After 3 month of hard lockdown, luckily I was able to keep the busniess running but unfortunately I run out of capital.
AIM OF THE FUNDRAISER
The aim of this fundraiser is to raise enough capital so I can keep my business running. With the money raise I will be able to bring stability to the business. I will be able to start a new investment, which is working towards opening a restaurant.
WHY A FUNDRAISER
As a young entrepreneur, it very hard to raise capital ( loans, credit facilities,etc). You get rejected by most of financial institution because you are new in business and its harder after covid19. After doing some research on how to raise capital for your business , i came across this and that's why I am reaching out to friends and family to try raise enough money.
